YS Jagan salutes 150 Years of ‘Vande Mataram’

Tadepalli, November 7: Former Chief Minister and YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy saluted the 150-year legacy of the patriotic hymn ‘Vande Mataram’, calling it a timeless symbol of national pride, unity, and sacrifice.

Recalling Bankim Chandra Chatterjee’s historic contribution, YS Jagan said the sacred verses awakened the spirit of freedom and inspired generations of freedom fighters. He urged people to draw strength from that spirit and work together for the progress and development of future generations. “Let us uphold the values of unity and nation-building embodied in ‘Vande Mataram’,” he said, marking the occasion with his heartfelt tribute.
