Tadepalli, July 18: Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed profound grief over the passing of Sri Chenna Basava Rajendra Mahaswami, the eighth Pontiff of the renowned Uravakonda Gavimath in South India.
Y.S. Jagan paid rich tributes to the Mahaswami, stating that he devoted his life to spiritual and religious service, guiding devotees for several decades. He said the revered seer made significant contributions to the development of Gavimath and played a vital role in preserving and promoting Sanatana Dharma. He noted that the Mahaswami's efforts in fostering spiritual awareness and his enduring message to devotees would be remembered with reverence for generations.
Praying for the departed soul to attain eternal peace, Y.S. Jagan conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the successor of Gavimath, Sri Karibasava Rajendra Swami, as well as to the devotees, disciples and the entire Gavimath fraternity, wishing them strength to bear this irreparable loss.
