YS Jagan announced that senior citizens will be paid Rs 3000 every month as pension. Apart from that, all the farmers will be given Rs 12,500 in the month of May every year.
Tirupati: Leader of opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was shocked that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who calls himself the senior most politician in the country has resorted to copying schemes from the Navaratnalu announced by the YSRCP.
Addressing the people at the YSRCP Samara Shankavaram meeting in Tirupati , YS Jagan announced that senior citizens will be paid Rs 3000 every month as pension. Apart from that, all the farmers will be given Rs 12,500 in the month of May every year.
The YSRCP chief observed that all the women above the age of 45 years from the SC, ST, BC and minority communities will be paid Rs 75,000 in phases through their respective corporations.
However, the pension to senior citizens was earlier announced as Rs 2000 under Navaratnalu by YS Jagan. He also assured that the age of the pension receivers will be brought down to 60years from the existing 65 years.
After copying the Navaratnalu, the TDP government increased the pension from Rs 1000 to Rs 2000. Now, with the YSRCP further raising the bar Chandrababu is left in a shock as to how to go about it.
