Undavalli: Demolition of illegal constructions has begun after the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA), issuing notices to illegal constructions on the embankment of River Krishna at Undavalli. As part of this drive, the CRDA has started demolition works of one Paturi Koteswara Rao's illegal construction. As the demolition work was underway on Monday, a section of the media in favour of the TDP was indulging in false propaganda that Chandrababu's house was being demolished.
Notices were issued earlier to Lingamaneni guesthouse where Chandrababu was living in and the CRDA officials are waiting for a response to the notice sent.
Reacting to these allegation Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Botsa Satyanarayana, clarified that illegal constructions on the embankments on River Krishna in Undavalli will be demolished as per law.
Speaking to media persons here on Monday, he said that notices had been served on illegal constructions earlier. Expressing his ire that a section of people were making false statements that the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu's residence in Undavalli was being demolished today (Monday), was baseless. The Minister clarified that that they were demolishing the illegal building belonging to Paturi Koteshwara Rao's building , but was being shown by the Yellow Media that Chandrababu's house was being demolished.
