Ibrahimpatnam, Feb 6: Former Chief Minister and YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has affirmed that the party will explore all avenues, including the Supreme Court and the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), to expose the jungle raj of the coalition government and the false propaganda being unleashed in the Tirupati laddu issue.
Speaking to the media after consoling Jogi Ramesh and his family members, and after witnessing the destruction and arson carried out by TDP mobs at his residence, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the CBI, after completing its investigation, has filed a charge sheet clearly stating that there was no animal fat in the ghee used to prepare the laddu, contrary to the lies spread by Chandrababu Naidu.
The charge sheet, backed by reports from two Central laboratories, does not mention the names of anyone associated with the YSRCP and categorically states that four tankers which were rejected by the TTD during Chandrababu Naidu’s term had returned from another company.
The facts mentioned in the court-monitored CBI report will prevail, and the one-man commission appointed by Chandrababu Naidu is only an eyewash and will not stand any scrutiny, said YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, whose visit drew huge crowds.
The template of arson and attacks is the same, whether it is against Ambati Rambabu, Jogi Ramesh, or others. TDP mobs worked in tandem with the police and carried out these attacks. Petrol bombs and acid bottles were thrown into the house of Jogi Ramesh when his aged father was alone at home. When our party tried to expose the lies of Chandrababu Naidu, the law of jungle raj prevailed in the form of attacks on the houses of YSRCP leaders, including Vidadala Rajini, Bolla Brahma Naidu, Kakani Govardhan Reddy, and others.
We will expose the jungle raj of the coalition government at all available forums and draw national attention to the distortion of facts by Chandrababu Naidu and the unabated attacks on YSRCP leaders who exposed the lies of the government. The government has filed 24 cases against Jogi Ramesh, including the spurious liquor case in which the losing TDP candidate was involved, and jailed him. When his son became active in politics, the police filed seven cases against him, and even a case was filed against Ramesh’s wife, which speaks volumes about the jungle raj prevailing in the state.
Chandrababu Naidu has been dragging God into politics, and he, along with his son Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan, has been using God for selfish and political gains. Close associates of the TDP leadership and the Home Minister took part in the attacks, and there is strong evidence to establish this.
Civil society is hanging its head in shame over the ongoing events under jungle raj. Instead of repenting for spreading falsehoods on the laddu issue, Chandrababu Naidu and his propaganda machinery are trying to cover it up and pick holes in the CBI report by appointing a one-man commission.
The attacks on our leaders were carried out only because we undertook pujas at temples, seeking God’s blessings so that good sense would prevail upon Chandrababu Naidu. He said this after pointing out that huge posters and cutouts were put up by the TDP to demean political adversaries.
We will pursue all available avenues. Justice may be delayed, but it will not be denied. We will bring to book all leaders, cadres, and erring officials involved in these attacks. All days will not remain the same, and we are the future, he said.
