*Mavigun better than Amaravati, anytime*

Tadepalli. April 10: Reiterating that Mavigun is a better alternative than Amaravati on all counts, YSRCP has said that Chandrababu lacks practical approach and own agenda to enrich his people.
Speaking to media here on Friday, Party State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said Mavigun has road-rail-air and port connectivity and has three existing cities and the concept of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is being accepted in many circles.
Amaravati on the other hand is isolated, lacks connectivity and takes over 20 to 30 years to emerge as a city. The exorbitant cost of Rs 2 to 3 lakh crore will be a burden on future generations while Mavigun comes at 10 percent of Amaravati cost.
A standing example building a new capital is the Nava Raipur which has buildings but no people.
The Amaravati cost includes only government quarters and buildings and does the economy grow at such a distant place with uncertain future.
Mavigun, on the other hand has population and the growth engine is ready to to pick up.
The coalition trying to cover up its folly is trying to spread false information and is not ready to accept reality.
Amaravati is steeped in corruption and serves the greed Chandrababu and his coterie. The exorbitant rates paid to the the select contractors speaks volumes, he said.
Unable to give a proper explanation as to why Mavigun should not be preferred over Amaravati, Chandrababu and his partners spreading falsehoods and leveling baseless allegations.
But the Mavigun concept went deep into the minds of people who are now questioning.
Anytime, Mavigun which is closer to national highway with three existing cities is better than the yet to come up Amaravati at a remote place, he said.
