*YSRCP RTI Wing must lead fight against corruption and expose govt failures: Sajjala*

Tadepalli, April 11: YSRCP State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy directed the party’s RTI wing to play a proactive and decisive role in exposing corruption and highlighting the failures of the coalition government, while addressing a state-level workshop held at the YSRCP central office. He stated that organizing such a workshop is a positive step and emphasized the need for a well-trained and committed RTI cadre that clearly understands the expectations of party leadership and works as a strong voice on public issues. He asserted that the RTI wing must be fully prepared to bring out the shortcomings of the government, alleging that over the past two years, governance under the coalition has been reduced to systematic corruption controlled by Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh, with institutions and sections of the media being managed to suppress the truth.

Sajjala further stated that while misleading narratives are being created in the name of long-term visions like “2047,” corruption has become rampant at every level, with commissions and bribes being openly collected. He criticized large-scale irregularities in the name of capital development, stating that massive corruption worth lakhs of crores is being facilitated, and called upon the RTI wing to gather concrete evidence and expose these activities before the public. He also pointed out the continued targeting of Y.S. Jagan through false propaganda and the harassment of opposition leaders and cadre through false cases, while affirming that YSRCP workers are united and responding as one family. He said that once party committees are fully constituted, a trained grassroots force of nearly 18 lakh cadre will be ready, and urged all affiliated wings to work in coordination to strengthen the party.
Speaking on the occasion, Party Central Office In-charge and MLC Lella Appireddy emphasized that the RTI wing has a crucial responsibility in obtaining information on irregularities and injustices under the present government and placing facts before the people. He stated that despite attempts to suppress YSRCP cadre and those questioning the government on social media through cases and intimidation, the party continues to fight for the people without retreat. He called upon leaders to carry forward the party’s ideology with commitment, discharge their responsibilities sincerely, and intensify efforts to expose the government’s failures through evidence. He also condemned the derogatory content aired on ABN against YSRCP leaders and asserted that the party will continue its struggle until such governance is defeated, expressing confidence that whenever elections are held, YSRCP will secure a decisive victory.
