*CBI Probe into DSC Irregularities: Sailajanath*

Anantapur, September 6: Former Minister Sake Sailajanath demanded a CBI inquiry into the alleged irregularities in the DSC 2025 recruitment process and the immediate removal of Education Minister Nara Lokesh to ensure an impartial investigation.

Addressing the media at the YSRCP office in Anantapur, Sailajanath alleged that constitutional provisions, Presidential Orders, reservation rules and merit were violated to provide jobs to TDP supporters and members of Lokesh’s Yuvagalam team.

He said evidence of irregularities was emerging from Srikakulam to Anantapur. In Ongole, a woman named Radhika reportedly submitted bank statements alleging that Rs 14 lakh was collected by promising her a DSC post. However, the police allegedly registered it as a case concerning AP Tourism jobs.

Sailajanath alleged that GOs 4 and 47 enabled direct recruitment without competitive examinations. After the issue became controversial, the government issued GO 56 and merely suspended the provisions instead of cancelling them. He said even candidates who had not qualified in TET were appointed.

He alleged serious violations in sports-quota recruitment. Genuine medal winners were ignored, while certificates relating to unrecognised games and allegedly fabricated tournaments were accepted. Several appointments were reportedly made in Kautalam mandal using similar sports certificates, with recommendations from ruling-party leaders.

He also questioned the alleged changes in Zone-II merit lists and the implementation of SC, BC and EWS reservations. He demanded publication of district-wise marks, complete merit lists and 1:1 verification details.

Sailajanath condemned the blocking of accounts belonging to Sakshi, BIG TV, independent YouTube channels and social-media activists reporting on the issue. He demanded CBI inquiries into DSC 2025 and previous APPSC recruitments, saying only an independent investigation could ensure justice for unemployed candidates.
