Why waste crores on events just to abuse YS Jagan?

Tadepalli, December 6:  YSRCP State General Secretary Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi strongly condemned Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh for spending crores of public money on special events, settings, and charter flights merely to attack former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Addressing the media at the YSRCP central office in Tadepalli, she questioned the need for extravagant Parent-Teacher Meetings that were turned into political shows, when a simple press meet would have sufficed. She said that the Bhamini school in Parvathipuram Manyam district, showcased by Chandrababu as his achievement, was actually built during Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy’s tenure and later upgraded under YS Jagan’s Nadu-Nedu programme. Yet, crores were wasted on decorations, props, and stage-managed settings to falsely claim credit and to create animosity towards YS Jagan among students.
Lakshmi Parvathi said that while YS Jagan delivered every promise with transparency, transferring over Rs.2 lakh crore directly to beneficiaries irrespective of caste or religion, the coalition government has not fulfilled even a single promise in 18 months. Instead, Chandrababu has pushed the state into a crushing debt of Rs. 2.66 lakh crore, with corruption visible at every step. She accused Chandrababu and Lokesh of misusing public money for weekly trips to Hyderabad and abroad in chartered flights, while claiming that welfare schemes are a financial burden. Calling it a display of sheer incompetence and irresponsibility, she reminded that governance requires sincerity, not political theatrics.
She ridiculed the TDP’s “mega” PTM event where even benches, furniture, and digital boards installed under YS Jagan’s governance were passed off as new achievements. She stated that the government cannot even provide quality mid-day meals, let alone run the education sector efficiently. Instead of fixing the crisis they created, the father-son duo is indulging in credit theft and spending lavishly on event management to attack YS Jagan.
Lakshmi Parvathi said Chandrababu has already given up on governance within just 18 months, with the state sliding to the bottom in GST growth, agriculture collapsing with no crop getting remunerative prices, and employees not receiving salaries on time. She called Chandrababu, Lokesh, and Pawan Kalyan “political jokers” who have no moral right to stay in power even for a minute. She asserted that Andhra Pradesh prospered under Y.S. Jagan, while today every section of society is suffering under the coalition rule.

She concluded that people are eagerly waiting for the next election to bring back Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, as Chandrababu’s government has proven incapable of governing and should step down immediately.
