Red Book rule replaces Governance in Andhra Pradesh

Tadepalli, Oct 25: Senior YSRCP leader and Party General Secretary Jupudi Prabhakar launched a sharp attack on the ruling coalition, calling Chandrababu Naidu “not the most senior, but the worst and dirtiest politician Andhra Pradesh has ever seen.” He said the state has never witnessed such a disastrous and insensitive administration.
Jupudi expressed outrage that while people are suffering from illness and natural calamities, ministers are making arrogant and irresponsible remarks. “When citizens are falling sick, a minister shamelessly asks what he can do about it. Another minister, questioned about law and order, retorts whether he should carry a baton or a gun himself,” he said.
Condemning the decision to hand over government-built medical colleges to private operators, Jupudi said it reflects the moral and fiscal bankruptcy of the Chandrababu regime. “Farmers hit by cyclones have no one to turn to, while Chandrababu and Lokesh are busy vacationing abroad and Pawan Kalyan’s presence in the state is uncertain,” he said.
Describing the current state as a “Red Book Rule”, where political vendetta has replaced constitutional governance, he noted that doctors are on protest, hospitals lack basic supplies, and Aarogyasri services have collapsed, leaving lakhs of patients helpless.
He mocked the government’s moral decay, saying, “Just as they sell ‘quality liquor,’ they now boast of ‘quality gambling’ in Bhimavaram.” He also criticized the attempt to normalize gambling and the misuse of power to shield erring officers.
Jupudi said the coalition has brought no industries except the spurious liquor industry, where fake liquor is sold under the guise of quality. He cited the Kurnool bus tragedy caused by a drunk biker, calling it a grim reflection of the government’s failure.
“The employees are cheated, farmers abandoned, and dissenters persecuted. Every act of Chandrababu is driven by self-interest, not public welfare,” Jupudi concluded.
