Tadepalli, Nov 7: YSR Congress Party has announced a massive state-wide movement against the Chandrababu-led coalition government's decision to privatize government medical colleges. As part of this democratic protest, a 1 Crore Signature Campaign and rallies will be held on November 12 across all Assembly constituencies, demanding immediate withdrawal of the anti-poor policy.
Senior YSRCP leaders MLC Lella Appi Reddy, Ambati Rambabu, TJR Sudhakar Babu, Donthireddy Vemareddy, Manohar Reddy, Vangaveeti Narendra, Chandrasekhar Reddy, and others formally released the poster for the campaign.
Speaking on the occasion, former Minister Ambati Rambabu condemned the government's move as a betrayal of the poor and youth. “Privatizing medical colleges established by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for public welfare is a deeply unfortunate and vindictive decision. Chandrababu Naidu is targeting development projects brought by YS Jagan due to political grudges,” he said.
He asserted that the YSRCP will relentlessly fight until the decision is reversed. “This policy hurts poor families, students, and rural healthcare. We will continue this democratic struggle until the government withdraws this anti-people move. On the 12th, protests and signature rallies will be held in every Assembly constituency. We will open the eyes of this insensitive coalition government,” Ambati said. due to political grudges,” he said.
