*Farmers in distress*

Nellore, April 26: YSRCP has slammed the coalition government for its indifference towards farmers who are in distress while a group of ministers are enjoying a foreign joint. 
Speaking to media here on Sunday, former minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy said farmers are not getting MSP for any crop and the Chief Minister’s mindset of agriculture is a waste reflects in his administration. 
While farmers are suffering ministers are on a foreign tour and due to lack of MSP farmers are losing Rs 20,000 per acre and the maize farmers are bearing the brunt as the farmers shifted to maize on advise of the government which is now indifferent. 
Last year farmers who cultivated chilli, cotton and tobacco suffered loss up to Rs 5 lakh per acre and the government has recommended maize or Bengal gram. Farmers took to maize and they are being cheated. 
If the government fails to address the farmers issue we will join them in protests and teach the government a lesson.  
 During the past two years, farmers have lost nearly Rs 25,000 crores due to lack  of remunerative prices for their crops. 
The Business Reformer Award to Chandrababu only shows that he is a publicity monger as he has shown no concern over the people’s welfare and farmers are most affected by not getting MSP to any crop. Apart from Amaravati, nothing is of importance to Chandrababu, he said.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has established RBKs which  would address all the needs of farmers and his Price Stabilsation Fund had looked after the price fluctuation while Chandrababu has totally neglected the farming sector, he said.
