Perni Nani slams Oppn

Amaravati : Information and Public Relations Minister Perni Venkatramaiah (Nani) slammed Opposition parties for making false allegations against YSRCP ahead of the Tirupati Lok Sabha bypoll. 

Speaking to media at party central office here on Monday, the Minsiter said TDP and BJP have no agenda for campaign in Titupati bypoll. He said BJP is not in a position to ask for votes by explaining what it has done to people and TDP is indulged in propagating false information. It is only YSRCP that has fulfilled the promises made and asking for votes in the upcoming election, he added.
In spite of being fully aware that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has cancelled his Tirupati public meeting due to the spike in Covid-19 cases, Naidu and Lokesh have been making false allegations with ulterior motives. He reminded that it  was the father-son duo that left for Hyderabad fearing of COVID. He said it was TDP leaders who have been gathering crowds and spreading corona in Tirupati. He said TDP followers and cadre have lost confidence in the leadership of Naidu and are looking for an alternative. 

The Minister said BJP is being indulged in religious politics with out social responsibility, and is  instigating communal hatred in the state. He questioned why people should vote for BJP in Tirupati bypoll.
He asserted that Tirupati bypoll is a referendum for the 22 month governance of YSRCP Government despite TDP and BJP accept the challenge.
He also appreciated Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for his village and ward secretariat initiative and the recognition in the form of awards.

Nellore, April 12: Condemning the reports in a section of press that there is a rise  in attacks on dalits in the state, YSRCP MLA Meruga Nagarjuna said attacks and  atrocities on dalits are more prevalent in TDP's regime.

Speaking to media at district party office here on Monday, the MLA compared the attacks on dalits in past ten years and said dalits are safe and many welfare schemes are being implemented for them in YSRCP government. 

He said a section of media has been reporting only a few incidents happened in Chirala, Rajahmundry, Kasibugga and Narsipatnam without mentioning the action taken by government which was mentioned in the American Human Rights Report.

On Tirupati bypoll, asserting that Dr Gurumoorthy is a dalit, the MLA slammed BJP leader Sunil Deodhar for targetting YSRCP candidate in the name of his caste and religion. He questioned over the silence of BJP leaders on the vandalisation of idols by TDP leaders.He said YSRCP has been fighting for special category status to the state and reminded that it was Naidu who took many turns on the issue.

 He said the oppostion parties are running out of issues as the Chief Minister has been implementing all the welfare schemes promised during 2019 elections. He urged the people of Tirupati to vote for  YSRCP candidate and give him a good majority.
