Tadepalli, Dec 23: Terming Pawan Kalyan as a political tool in the hands of Chandrababu Naidu, YSRCP has slammed the coalition for its lack of response on sensitive issues and resorting to diversion tactics by using abusive language and cheap gimmicks.
Speaking to media here on Tuesday, Guntur Parliament Constituency observer Pothina Mahesh said that Pawan Kalyan has been parroting the script of Chandrababu and has neither ethics nor sincerity in running his Party and government.
Pawan Kalyan has been appearing on screen whenever Chandrababu is on the defence only to divert the attention of the people and said his incoherent and abusive language should be under check as he has mortgaged his Party and cadre to TDP.
When YS Jagan Mohan Reddy raised the issue of privatization of medical colleges and there was a groundswell of support, Pawan Kalyan started speaking in an abusive language while he has been silent on the new G RAM G Bill though it is his subject. He should be asking how can the State afford to pay Rs 4,000 crore if the new scheme is implemented and speak about the damage to the rural economy once the new Bill comes into effect.
People have vented their ire against the privatization of medical colleges and Pawan Kalyan should understand their mood instead of acting in the direction of Chandrababu. Both have been running their respective political parties by usurping some others' goodwill, while YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has led YSRCP on his own and gone to elections on his own as he has a mass appeal.
Pawan Kalyan has been silent on various issues, including the rampant corruption, suffering of students and lack of medicare due to watering down Aarogyasri but comes up to talk whenever prompted by his boss and speaks the given lines, he said.
Law and order has been deteriorating and farmers are not getting MSP while casinos are run at will and not a single poll promise has been fulfilled, yet Pawan Kalyan remains silent.
TDP cadre has been harassing Jana Sena cadre and Kapus and Pawan has no time to react and his party is in such a state of affairs that he has sought the permission of his senior Party even for small favours to his own Party members.
