MP Gurumoorthy condemns attack on Sakshi office at Renigunta

Tirupati, June 9:YSRCP MP Maddila Gurumoorthy strongly condemned the attack by TDP supporters on the Sakshi unit office at Renigunta.
Visiting the office personally, he met with the branch manager to understand the details of the incident.
Speaking to the media, Gurumoorthy said that Andhra Pradesh is witnessing undemocratic governance under the coalition government. He accused the ruling leaders of suppressing press freedom and engaging in targeted political vendetta.
He said, despite Sakshi and the YSR Congress Party clearly condemning the remarks made by analyst Krishnam Raju, the issue is being twisted and falsely linked to them.
This is part of a larger conspiracy to discredit and attack those who question the government, he said.
The MP stated that leaders of the coalition are encouraging this toxic political culture by supporting such attacks. “This is not a healthy democratic practice,” he said, calling it a deliberate act of revenge driven by political motives.
