Law and Order completely collapsed in AP: YS Jagan

Tadepalli, Jan 16: Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy strongly condemned the brutal murder of Dalit activist Manda Salman from Pinnelli village in Gurazala constituency of Palnadu district, stating that law and order in Andhra Pradesh has completely collapsed and that there is no rule of law in the state. Expressing deep anguish, he said attacks on YSRCP activists and leaders have become routine, police who are supposed to protect citizens are allegedly colluding with ruling party leaders, and people no longer feel safe in the state. He said the poor, Dalits and vulnerable sections are being targeted and sacrificed to political vendetta, and warned that those responsible for this crime will certainly be brought before the law.
YS Jagan spoke over the phone to Salman’s brother, conveyed his deep condolences, and assured the family that the party would stand firmly with them. He said that when YSRCP returns to power, strict legal action will be taken to ensure the guilty are punished. During the conversation, Salman’s family informed him about the continuing attacks, intimidation by ruling party leaders in Pinnelli village, and the harassment and false cases allegedly being filed by local police. YS Jagan assured the party cadre not to panic, said YSRCP would provide full support in every way, and reaffirmed that the party would stand completely with Salman’s family and hold accountable those who are abusing power and destroying public safety.
