Jogi Ramesh challenges Chandrababu to prove false liquor case link

Vijayawada, Oct 13: Former minister Jogi Ramesh launched a strong counterattack on TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of creating false stories and misusing the SIT to frame innocent people in the spurious liquor case. Speaking to the media in Vijayawada, he said the so-called SIT investigation is nothing but a political drama scripted, directed, and acted by Chandrababu himself.
Ramesh clarified that he has no connection whatsoever with the spurious liquor case. "If Chandrababu can prove even a single link between me and this case, I am ready to accept any punishment," he said, adding that he is willing to take an oath before Lord Venkateswara along with his family and also for a lie detector test to prove his innocence. He challenged Chandrababu to do the same with his family if he has the courage.
He accused the government of forcing Janardhan, who is under remand, to record a false video against him. "The remand report does not mention my name anywhere, yet they are trying to use his video to spread lies," he said. Ramesh alleged that Janardhan’s wife and children were harassed to make him name YSRCP leaders.
The former minister said Chandrababu is trying to divert public attention because he is being exposed. "You cannot stay in power forever, Chandrababu. Filing false cases gives you temporary satisfaction, but truth will catch up with you," he remarked.

Ramesh declared that he is not afraid of illegal cases and will not run away. "If Chandrababu or Lokesh have the courage, let them face me directly. I am ready to take a truth test anywhere, even before Goddess Kanaka Durga in Vijayawada," he said, adding that the YSRCP and the people will expose the lies behind the liquor case and the Red Book politics.
