Credit Chor Babu stealing YS Jagan’s vision units: Kannababu

Kakinada, November 7: Former minister and YSRCP regional coordinator Kurasala Kannababu slammed Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, stating that renaming village and ward secretariats as “Vision Units” is proof that even Chandrababu has now accepted YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as the true visionary. Addressing media in Kakinada, he said the village secretariat system created by YS Jagan brought Gandhiji’s Gram Swaraj to life by delivering services to every doorstep through a secretariat for every 2,000 population, staffed with 10 employees and supported by volunteers for every 50 households. “You may change names, but Telugu people will never forget the leader who created the model,” he said, calling the CM a credit chor for rebranding YS Jagan’s policies and claiming industries brought under Jagan’s rule as his own.
He condemned the “visionary” propaganda by friendly media while public services collapse ,  power outages even in major hospitals, shortages of medicines, stalled Aarogyasri, no urea for farmers, no remunerative prices, fee reimbursement delays, and failure to deliver DA, PRC, unemployment stipend or Rs. 1,500 monthly support to women. “This coalition government has vision only for publicity and privatization,” he stated.
Mocking the “data-driven governance” slogan, Kannababu said the government cannot show even a single transparent public data portal. He pointed out that after the Montha cyclone devastated lakhs of acres, instead of officers assessing crop loss in fields, farmers were forced to go to RBKs and warned that late applications wouldn’t be accepted and those who report losses risk losing paddy procurement. “Even farmers in distress are being blackmailed,” he said, noting that Chandrababu went to London and Nara Lokesh to Mumbai for cricket matches while people suffered.
He recalled Jagan’s transparent governance through volunteers, RBKs, village clinics, Nadu-Nedu, and sanctioning 17 government medical colleges, “permanent systems admired across India.” He condemned the removal of YS Jagan’s name from the Karapa inauguration plaque, asking: “Can they erase the system just by breaking a plaque?”
Calling Chandrababu’s governance a recycled script from 1996, first Vision 2020, then 2029, now 2047, he ridiculed WhatsApp governance when 4,000 petitions still reached Lokesh’s public durbar and people queue every Monday at offices. He accused the father-son duo of grabbing credit for others’ achievements, dodging responsibility for tragedies like the Kaseebugga stampede, misusing police to harass YSRCP supporters including NRI Bhaskar Reddy and YSRCP media head Pudi Srihari, and running parallel liquor rackets causing massive revenue losses. “Headline hunting is not governance. True Vision Units belong to YS Jagan,” Kannababu asserted.
