CPS Will Be Scrapped In One Month: YS Jagan
09 Feb 2019 10:37 AM

Kadapa: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Chief and leader of the opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy told party leaders and workers that Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) would be scrapped within a month of the YSRCP coming to power. The YSRCP chief asked party workers and leaders to propagate his resolve among employees. He was responding to a question on the subject by a booth committee member after concluding his speech at a massive gathering comprising booth committee members, representatives, coordinators, party workers and leaders at the 'Samara Sankhavaram'. YS Jagan remarked that the welfare of employees always remained a high priority issue for the YSRCP.
YS Jagan pointed out that AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu constituted committees for the government to drag its feet on the issue which was of great concern to employees.
The YSRCP chief asked party workers and leaders to propagate the message of Navaratnalu widely to reach every household. He pointed out that it was not the TDP alone which the YSRCP was fighting, but the yellow media as well. YS Jagan exhorted party men to expose the lies of Chandrababu Naidu. YSRCP party workers and leaders should fan out to villages for this and remind people of TDP's unfulfilled promises of 2014 elections and the betrayal by Chandrababu Naidu.
