Chintamaneni Prabhakar Hurl Abuses At Dalits

TDP MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar has once again angered the Dalit community in Andhra Pradesh .This is not the first time he has publicly abused them in the name of caste.
A video showing Chintamaneni addressing people in Dendaluru, West Godavari in what seems to be a Janmabhoomi committee program held last month in Sriramavaram Mandal has surfaced and gone viral on social media.
The video shows Chintamaneni speaking in a very harsh tone and abusing them in foul language. He is also seen telling them that politics and power were not meant for them as they belonged to Scheduled Caste.
Apparently, a member from the Dalit group wanted to speak and had asked for the mike which enraged the TDP leader and he abused all of them. He apparently said that he would have stopped YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his visit, but he had not done that and if he had stopped him would they not support him, he questioned and went on to hurl expletives at them.
Dalit Leaders and ST Welfare organisations are up in arms against the leader and his comments against them. They have demanded that a case under SC/ST Atrocities Act be booked against him. He should be arrested and be stripped of his MLA position, they demanded.
They also reminded that Chandrababu Naidu himself had made a controversial statement that "nobody should be born as Dalit" and another TDP minister Adinarayana once said that Dalits were not clean people. If the Chief Minister and his coterie could speak derogatorily about Dalits, we can't expect much from the ruling party MLAs and its leaders, they commented.
