Tadepalli, Dec 24: YSRCP has affirmed that Chandrababu has lost the confidence of the people and that corruption is rampant in the state.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Party General Secretary SV Satish Kumar Reddy said the scale of corruption in the name of development is visible to everyone, and people have lost faith in governance as the promises made are not being fulfilled.
Chandrababu has himself confessed that he has lost control over governance during the Collectors’ Conference, which clearly reflects the state of administration and his credibility, he said.
A minor incident at Kadiri is being blown out of proportion with the sole intention of slinging mud at YSRCP. The accused person is a fan of the Jana Sena Party, and police manhandling of an SC youth exposes the attitude of the government, he said.
Political vendetta has become the buzzword of the coalition government, as the Pinnelli brothers were arrested on false charges. The murder was the result of a clash between two groups of the TDP, yet the Pinnelli brothers were falsely implicated only to harass YSRCP leaders, he said.
Corruption from top to bottom is rampant, with the leadership enriching itself and leaders down the line making money from every activity, which has not gone unnoticed by the people, he added.
Prime land is being given away in Visakhapatnam to real estate companies, while government colleges are being privatized and their salaries are being paid by the government, causing double harm to public health, he said.
The liquor scam at Tamballapalle is known to everyone. While the person behind it, a TDP candidate, is allowed to go scot-free, Jogi Ramesh has been arrested, he pointed out.
These are glaring examples of Chandrababu losing control over the administration, he said.
