AMARAVATI: YSRCP MLA Dharmana Prasada Rao said that Chandrababu Naidu betrayed the people of Andhra Pradesh with the excuse of constructing the state capital Amaravati.
“Whatever, the decisions made on the capital should be under the jurisdiction of the constitution,” he said.
He added that there should be equal justice to all the regions in the state. He pointed out that there is dissatisfaction among the people of the state over Amaravati.
Dharmana Prasada Rao hit out at TDP for seeking decisions from the major Political parties over the capital construction.
He pointed out that we left Hyderabad even though we had rights on it as a capital for 10 years. He said that the state is still running without capital.
There is no land more than 10 acres to construct government offices in Rayalaseema and East Andhra.
He also said that the development is centralized in Hyderabad over seventy years. People invested more there and are not willing to leave Hyderabad.
We would not have any problem if all the regions in the united Andhra Pradesh had developed, he said.
He added that there is a responsibility on everyone not to allow this in the future.
He also said that the previous government did not establish a single educational institution in Srikakulam district in five years as the state had got 23 educational institutions.
