Bharat dares Lokesh for debate

Rajahmundry, Oct 15: YSRCP has slammed Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh for their tall talk on development and challenged them to a debate on data centres.

Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, former MP Margani Bharat said Lokesh should come for a debate with former minister Gudivada Amarnath on IT and data centre issues instead of making tall claims.

He said it was during Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s tenure that Hyderabad truly developed, not under Chandrababu Naidu as is being falsely claimed. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has paved the way for Vizag’s growth through decentralized development, promoting the blue economy, encouraging aquaculture, developing port-based industries, and improving overall coastal infrastructure, he added.

Bharat said Chandrababu drove away the Jindal company, which later moved to Maharashtra. “Bringing the PPP model into public hospitals has never been heard of. It is the same government that refused to spend Rs 1,000 crore on government colleges,” he said.

He clarified that the prime accused in the spurious liquor scam is Jayachandra Reddy, and the YSRCP has nothing to do with him. “He was given a TTD ticket in the previous elections as well, which clears the air,” Bharat stated.

“The SIT probe will serve no purpose; the case should be handed over to a Central agency,” he said, adding that YSRCP leaders are being harassed with false cases and lookout notices, but “times will change.”
