*Apologise to the Lord and Devotees*

*Chandrababu’s false campaign on Tirumala laddu stands exposed*

Tirupati, Feb 5: Former TTD Chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said the ongoing Tirumala laddu controversy shows how far Chandrababu Naidu and coalition leaders are willing to go for politics, even at the cost of devotees’ faith. He stated that Chandrababu is on the defensive and behaving inconsistently out of fear, and must apologise to the Lord and devotees for spreading claims about animal fat in laddu ghee despite SIT and lab reports clearly stating that no animal fat was used. He clarified that YSRCP never denied adulteration concerns but consistently said animal fat was not present.

He criticised Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan of making statements that invite public ridicule and of dragging Sanatana Dharma into politics despite their own past remarks and conduct. He noted that many dairies supplying ghee were from Chandrababu’s tenure, that lower prices and even flavour-mixed ghee purchases occurred earlier under TDP rule, and that corrupt officials and technical experts from that period were responsible for irregularities.

He rejected that test reports were hidden, saying tests were sent during YV Subba Reddy’s tenure in good faith. He said rule changes were made as per Central guidelines without malice and that CBI-SIT has not named YSRCP leaders, yet attempts are being made to frame them through fresh committees. He highlighted that laddus sent to Ayodhya were made from donated ghee, not TTD stock. He questioned how Chandrababu could claim sole devotion when lakhs visit daily and recalled incidents during TDP rule involving liquor, clashes and deaths on the hill.

He credited YSR and YS Jagan with major temple initiatives, rituals, publications, mass marriages, and construction of thousands of temples across states, while accusing the coalition of hypocrisy over the Srivani Trust and temple development. He asserted that YSRCP is unafraid of media attacks, ready for any punishment if proven wrong, and has only acknowledged systemic lapses, not wrongdoing. He concluded that God will not forgive those who exploit faith for politics and said the sudden multi-party media response from the coalition came only after YS Jagan demanded an apology, showing their discomfort as facts emerged.
