YSRCP to intensify stir against bauxitemining

Hyderabad: The YSRCP will intensify the stir against the mining of bauxite ore in nearly 3000 acres of Vizag agency. A Tribal Rights Committee has been formed to spearhead the battle against the mining.
Party's General Secretary Vijaya Sai Reddy also informed that Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would participate in the program of 'Bauxite mining-Tribals' rights, which will be held on December 2
The members of the 'Tribal Rights Committee' are Smt. Giddi Eshwari - Paderu MLA, K. Sarveshwara Rao - Araku MLA, K. Rajanna Dora - Saluru MLA, Smt. P. Pushpasri Vani - Kurupam MLA, Smt. Party general secretary Vijaya Sai Reddy stated through the press note released on Thursday that though Chandrababu Naidu opposed the mining while he was in the Opposition, he took diametrically opposite stand once he became the chief minister. He had given permission for mining, which is against the tribals and the environment.
