Audio of Chandrababu Briefing Party Activist On YS Jagan’s Kuppam Rally Goes Viral

Chittoor: An audio tape of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu 'briefing' party men on their course of action with regard to YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's election rally at Kuppam is doing the rounds on social media platforms. In the conversation, Chandrababu is heard giving specific instructions not to attend the rally and what to do about those who do.
It appears that TDP supremo is clearly rattled by the overwhelming response the YSRCP chief has been receiving everywhere. The Kuppam rally of the YSRCP chief on Friday, which attracted thousands of people was a clear indicator of YS Jagan's popularity even in Chandrababu's home turf. The TDP chief's Pulivendula roadshow, in stark contrast, had no takers, adding to his frustration, it appears. One can imagine the state of affairs in Andhra Pradesh when a chief minister resorts to such methods, political observers point out.
YS Jagan undertook electioneering in Chandrababu's constituency of Kuppam on Friday. In the audio conversation the TDP chief, when informed that YS Jagan is scheduled to visit Kuppam, is heard responding--"do not attend the meeting. If someone still does, note down their names. We have an idea for the future. We need not speak now about what we would do. We can attend to them later. If we make sure that they do not get a single benefit, it is enough." The interesting aspect of it all is that the Kuppam election rally conducted by YS Jagan turned out to be a massive success in spite of such threats held out by the TDP chief.
