Speaker: JupudiPrabhakar Rao -Mar16,2012

YSR Congress Party on Friday said that Congress and TDP were resorting to unfair means at Kovur by distributing cash and liquor besides misusing official machinery.
“TDP members have been distributing cash and trying to lure the voters while the ruling Congress is pulling all its panic buttons in an effort to save deposit for the it candidate,” party spokesperson JupudiPrabhakar Rao told reporters here.
Both the parties are resorting to negative campaign going around places and telling not to vote for YSR Congress Party. “This indicates that they are on a very sticky wicket and have already conceded defeat.”
While the TDP is an import Congress has little or no stakes in the by-election. The battle is between YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, N Chandrababu Naidu and Sonia Gandhi, he said. The two parties are now striving hard to save deposit of their candidates.
“We request the District Collector and Election Commission to make all efforts for a free and fair election as the two parties have been using unfair methods in electioneering, which include distribution of cash and liquor,” he said.
Anam brothers of Congress and Chnadrababu Naidu are shooting their mouth on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy out of frustration, he added.
