YV Subba Reddy Forcibly Moved To Hospital
09 Apr 2018 2:55 PM
YV Subba Reddy who was among the YSRCP MPs on hunger strike to protest the Centre's stand over granting of Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh, was forcibly moved to hospital after his health deteriorated.
Doctors who conducted medical tests on the fasting MP found his health and bad shape and advised that he be rushed to the hospital to stabilise his condition. Although YV Subba Reddy was firm on continuing with his fast, the doctors had to forcibly move him to the hospital fearing risk to his life.
It's worth recalling that 5 MPs from the YSR Congress Party submitted their resignations to Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan after the BJP led government at the Centre failed to soften its stand over the SCS issue. The MPs thereafterm went straight to AP Bhavan in Delhi where they have been fasting over the last four days. Leaders cutting across party lines have expressed their solidarity with the fasting MPs.
YSR Congress party Chief, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who's been relentlessly fighting for the cause and called SCS a lifeline to AP has reiterated that his party would continue to stand by people and fight for SCS till the very end.
