YSRCP to support NDA's Presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind

Hyderabad: The main Opposition party in AP Assembly, YSR Congress Party on Monday has extended support to the National Democratice Alliance (NDA) nominee for President, Ram Nath Kovind.

Soon after the NDA’s decision to finalise the candidature of Kovind, BJP president Amit Shah telephoned YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and sought the YSRCP’s support to the candidate.

The YSRCP chief conveyed Amit Shah that his party would support Kovind’s candidature for the top post as he was a Dalit leader.
