New Delhi: YSRCP has been relentlessly fighting for special category status, the right of people of AP. Demaning the sanction of special status to the state, it is holding uncompromising struggle in the state as well as in New Delhi, against the state and the central Governments. It is mobilising people in regard with the deceptive ways of the Governments in this matter. 

YSRCP MPs in Lok Sabha continued their agitation today, being the fourth day in a row, in demand for special status. They raised slogans in the house in this demand and protested at the speaker's podium. As MP MP YV Subbareddy raised the topic of special status, speaker Sumitra Mahajan suggested to speak about it in the Zero hour.
He then demanded for immediate grant of special status, mentioning that it had already been 26 months and more delay was objectionable. With no response from the Government, they walked out of the house in protest.
