YSRCP MPs Meet Union Minister On AP Demands

New Delhi: YSR Congress Parliamentary Party delegation led by MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy met Union Water Resources minister Nithin Gadkari and requested him to order a probe into the alleged irregularities in the construction of national project Polavaram in Andhra Pradesh.  

The delegation explained how the AP government misused central funds alloted to the project. The MPs wondered whether the centre permitted state government to construct the national project without any supervision by the Centre. 

The MPs also requested the union minister to scrap the proposal to the privatization of Dredging Corporation Of India in Visakhapatnam. The disinvestment will threaten job security to all workers. 

They also informed Nithin Gadkari the delay in according special status to Andhra Pradesh.  The YSR Congress MPs are also ready to relinquish thier posts to the cause of state.
