YSRCP Mounts Pressure on Disqualification of Turncoats

Amaravati: YSR Congress party MLA delegation called on Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker K Siva Prasad Rao and submitted a memorandum demanding the disqualification of their party MLAs who switched loyalties to ruling TDP.

The party delegation comprising of  Pinnelli Rama Krishna Reddy,  Kona Raghupathi, Mekapati Venkata Pratap Appa Rao, Mustafa and Gopi Reddy Srinivas Reddy met the speaker and enquired about the delay in disqualifying the defected legislators.
Ramakrishna Reddy alleged that Chandrababu Naidu was buying opposition party MLAs like cattle in the markets. The CM also inducted four defected legislators in his cabinet which was against the spirit of Constitution.

In a scathing attack, the legislators also said farmer Chief Minister Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy conducted the assembly session for more than 500 days whereas Chandrababu could organise not more than 80- days. Since the party was meted out injustice, the party Presdent YS Jagan Mohan Reddy embarked on padayatra to expose the TDP government's misdeeds. YS Jagan was strictly adhering values in his political life, they added.
