YSRCP leaders protest in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: Disapproval towards the never-fulfilled dream of North Andhra railway zone is mounting up. YSRCP is heading this fight in support of people. YSRCP protested on Friday in front of the collectorate demanding special railway zone for the region and special status for the state. Party’s district president Gudiwada Amarnath spoke on this occasion and mentioned that none of the promises made as per the state bifurcation law were realized. He criticized Visakhapatnam MLAs for not having integrity towards the achievement of special railway zone.

He stated that Polavaram project would take 300 years to complete with the given budget of Rs.100 crore. He blamed Chandrababu for the lack of help to the state from the centre. He slammed Babu for taking up Pattiseema project with Rs.2200 crore for the selfish benefit of his son and himself. He added that the centre knew that the funds given for Polavaram project would be misused just like those sanctioned for Pattiseema project, hence it decided to wave empty hand regarding this.

He mentioned that the centre believed that Polavaram project would be rightfully carried out only after YSRCP president YS Jagan became the CM. YSRCP leaders, activists and followers participated in this protest. They warned that the struggle would strengthen upon the Government’s ignorance of it.
