Korukonda: Protest is growing towards the arrest of YSRCP's senior leaders in Rajahmundry. Party leaders Botsa Satyanara, Ambati Rambabu, Ummareddy Venkateswarulu, and Samineni Udayabhanu reached Rajahmundry by flight from Hyderabad to meet Kapu community leader Mudragada Padmanabham who had been on hunger strike demanding the release of those arrested for Tuni arson. But the police took them into custody right in the airport and moved them to Korukonda police station.
The police asked them to go back from there but the leaders denied to leave until they met Mudragada, condemning the police for not allowing them to meet him.
