YSR Congress Party has kick started its intensified struggle for special status to Andhra Pradesh by staging dharnas at all District Collectorates on Thursday.
As announced by the party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy that his party will mount pressure on Centre on special status by various forms of agitations, the district party units held dharnas in front of the Collectorates.
The office premises were reverberated with the slogans of special status with the participation of leaders, workers and party sympathizers also.
In Prakasham district, senior leader Balineni Srinivas Reddy and Markapuram MLA J Venkat Reddy and others took part. In Srikakulam district, Dharmana Prasada Rao, Tammineni Sitaram, Reddy Shanti, Dharmana Krishna Das and Kambala Jogulu and others were present.
