Vijayawada: YSR Congress Party leader Vellampalli Srinivas held Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu responsible for the spate of suicides by unemployed youth.
He said Chandrababu conducted two Investment summits by incurring crores of rupees expenditure but it proved a futile exercise. Not a single job was created ever since TDP came to power in Andhra.
The YSR Congress leader said it was unfortunate that a Dalit gold medalist committed suicide at the place where the summit was conducted. He demanded the CM to hold responsible for the deaths of youth in depression.
Srinivas questioned the Chief minister for his failure in implementing unemployment role to youth promised in 2014 elections. While YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is fighting for special status to get incentives for new industries, Chandrababu and his cabinet colleagues requested centre for special package only , he pointed out.
Srinivas said YS Jagan is trying to instill confidence among the youth by continuing the struggle for special status.
