YSRCP flays Cong double standards

Hyderabad
,
June 4, 2013: Coming down heavily on Congress government for diluting YSR schemes on
one hand and hijacking some others, YSR Congress has said that the ruling party
has been displaying its raw opportunism by maintaining double standards on the
issue.

“PCC
President stating that the welfare schemes YSR has implemented belong to
Congress is an attempt to hijack the welfare schemes as in no other Congress
ruled states were the Aarogaysri, fees reimbursement and Jalayagnam included in
the Party manifesto,” Party MLA B Karunakar Reddy told reporters here on
Monday.

YSR
has promised 9 hour free power supply and 30 kg rice in the 2009 elections, the
two schemes were not honoured by the Congress government. PCC President
revealing that the welfare schemes were not diluted and YSR Congress has been
trying to hijack their welfare schemes is ridiculous, he said.

Aarogyasri
has been heavily run-down, severe restrictions are imposed on fees
reimbursement and Jalayaganam has lost its course in the Congress governance.
YSR Congress believes that the welfare schemes announced by YSR are being
defaced and watered down. Hence it has included in its agenda.

We
are assuring people that his welfare schemes will be implemented when we come
to power and people are aware that the present Government has gone back on the
YSR schemes, he said.

Congress
has been passing very damaging comments with the State President, Botsa
Satyanaryana calling names on the acronym of our party. It is a conviction to
call any Party by its short form and Yuvajana Sharmika Rythu Congress also
coincides with our leader’s name and is called YSR Congress, he said.

On
PCC President’s interpretation of Supreme Court remarks on economic offenders,
he said, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is in jail as part of the conspiracy of Congress,
TDP and CBI. Our leader is only

an
accused and is not proved guilty of the charges. Botsa Satyanarayana should
learn what the meaning of an accused is, he said.

False
allegation and cases were foisted on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and he will come out
clean from the legal court and people’s court as well, he said.

TDP
leaders questioning the meetings of people by Jagan in the jail shows his
ignorance of the jail manual. Though YSR family members have been targeted by
Congress and TDP, they have sacrificed most of their share in the allotted
timings to party workers, he said.

Asserting
that YSRCP has no fear of exodus, he said, people from other parties are prepared
to join as they could sense the mood of the people, which is in favour of YS
Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership.
