YSRCP demands resolution for united State
11 Dec 2013 10:02 PM
demanded that a resolution should be passed in the Assembly in favour of a
united state and when the Government did not heed to it, the Party has
boycotted the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting.
“We told the Government to adopt a resolution in favour of a united state as
the first priority as the division is undemocratic and is against the wish of
the majority of the people, “Party floor leader and Honorary President YS
Vijayamma told reporters here on Wednesday.
Looking at the plight of the people, we demanded that the Government should
take up the resolution on a priority basis and when there is no reaction from
the State, we have boycotted the meeting, she said adding that they will move a
motion and will take the support of any party or group that comes forward.
We have also demanded the government that a discussion should be held on the
plight of farmers who did not receive compensation, input subsidy and relief
from Neelam typhoon till the recent floods which damaged the crops heavily.
The injustice done to the State by the Brijesh Kumar Tribunal verdict, steep
hike in power charges and essential commodities would also be raised by the
Party during the session, she said.
