YSRCP demands CBI probe into Vizag land scam

Visakhapatnam: Former minister and YSR Congress Party senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana demanded CBI probe into Vizag land scam, the biggest of its kind in the State history.
Speaking at a roundtable conference and later addressing the media, the former minister charged the direct involvement of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s son and IT Nara Lokesh involvement in the scam. He said besides Ministers, TDP leaders and the entire district administration involved in the scam, with the CM Chandrababu’s blessing hence State agencies could not do justice, he added.
Besides Botsa Satyanarayana, YSRCP Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Sai Reddy, Party Visakha district president Gudiwada Amarnath Reddy and other opposition party leaders participated in the roundtable conference.
Pointing fingers at Chief Minister and his family, the YSRCP leader asked why the government is hesitating to order CBI probe if their hands are clean. He alleged that from Chief Minister to every ruling party leader is looting the State. He suggested an all party action plan to save the State from ruling party looting sphere and added that a delegation of all political parties and intellectuals should meet the Chief Secretary and DGP to lodge a formal complaint before launching an united struggle against the government misrule.
