YSRCP Calls Bandh For Steel Plant, Mass Arrests In Kadapa

The bandh call given by  YSR Congress Party demanding for the establishment of Steel Plant In YSR Kadapa district was receiving good response.  Despite police took into custody many YSR Congress leaders,  the party workers staged dharnas before RTC depots and stopped the bus services. 

 Kadapa MLA Amjad Pasha, Mayor Ramesh Babu and others were arrested.  Police forces were deployed  across the district and arrested the leaders forcefully.  A Amarnath Reddy was arrested in Rajampet.  Youth wing leader P Suresh and student union leader Khaja Rahmatullah were taken into custody when they took out big bike rally. 

The YSR Congress leaders warned the government for the mass arrest of the party leaders.  Youth took to the streets and gave slogans ' Kadapa Ukku- Maa Hakku'.
