Hyderabad, Dec 5, 2012:
YSR Congress party spokesman Gattu Ramachandra Rao has said the party has a
clear policy on the issue of Telangana and will reveal its stand at the all
party meeting on Telangana whenever it is held.
Reacting to
announcements by Telangana Congress MPs that the Congress high command has
decided to convene an all party meeting on the Telangana issue on Dec 28,
Ramachandra Rao told newspersons here today that the Centre is only taking the
MPs for a ride once again on the issue.
“It is only a ploy
played by the Congress to trick the Telangana MPs into voting in favour of the
FDI proposal,” he said. “Our party has a clear policy on the issue but the
party leadership will discuss the issue once again before taking a final
decision.”
