YSRC mulls filing review petition in SC

YSR Congress is contemplating to file a review petition against Supreme
Court verdict of dismissing the bail plea of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and has asked
its cadre not to be disappointed but work with renewed vigour to strengthen the
Party under the stewardship of YS Vijayamma.

“We are in touch with legal experts and are exploring options which
includes filing of a review petition and we believe that the sequence of events
that unfolded at Delhi on the eve of the verdict leads to the suspicion of a
conspiracy to hold YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in jail for a longer period,” party
spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters in Hyderabad on Friday.

People’s court has already given the verdict in the recent by-elections
and we will fight till the final victory. YS Vijayamma will lead the Party in
the absence of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is in jail for the past 132 days, he
said adding that though “we are disappointed with the verdict but we are not
hopeless.”

TDP leaders meeting Union Finance Minister hours before ED issuing
attachment order and the event taking place on the eve of the bail plea hearing
is not a coincidence. Pulling off something big on the eve of any major
judicial proceeding of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has become a pattern with vested
interests working overtime to keep Jagan at bay and we will fight back tooth
and nail against the conspirators, he said.

Though there is disappointment that our leader did not get bail, our
resolve to uphold the ideals of YSR has strengthened and will work under the
leadership of YS Vijayamma, he said.

The set back is temporary but the cadre need not be worried as people
have given a powerful mandate to our Party as the Congress and TDP had to bite
the dust in the recent by-polls. These two Parties and some vested interests
have been after YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for their personal gains, he said adding that
YSRCP could win by-polls even while Jagan was in jail as people are convinced
that he is the future.

The nexus has been active from the day YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was forced
out of Congress and the hot pursuit continued with the ruling Party misusing
law enforcing agencies, Main Opposition TDP joining hands
with ruling party and vested interests misusing media, he said.

Such cowardly acts of
ganging up of Congress, TDP and vested interests cannot deter our commitment to
take forward YSR ideals and we will win the final frontier, he said
