YS Jagan's Rythu Bharosa Yatra in Atmakur

Anantapur: “It has been one year since the TDP Government has formed, but the Loan Waiver promise neither to the farmer nor to the ‘DWACRA’ were fulfilled. Also, cheated the age old by promising ‘Old Age Pension’. With the intention of cheating every one, Chandra Babu made promises, and today he forgot about those promises. I fought on this in the Assembly. We will once again fight on this together” says the YSRCP Chief & Leader of Opposition Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He continued his ‘Bharosa Yatra’ in the district starting from Topudurti in Atmakur Mandal. On the way to Ellutla in Putluru Mandal to console the family of Mallikarjun, he briefly stopped at Madugupalli to speak to the Farmers and Village people. Few people have brought to his notice the huge loss they incurred on the farms and few about not receiving the old age pension.

He enquired about “What is the investment on the ‘Chilli Crop’?……What are the returns on it?…..How many times the pesticide was sprayed?.... and what is the total cost?”. Responding to this a Farmer named Peddireddy replied with agony that approximately Rs.1.90 lakhs was the investment but the crop got infested with ‘Muddabingi’ and is infesting the crops of all others. The farmer said that he has taken a loan of One Lakh but only Rs.3000 was waived off. Responding to this Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy said that we will fight with the government and get loan waiver. He assured that good days are about coming and encouraged them to be patient. Later at Chennampalli Village the villagers stopped his convoy and shook hands with him. They requested him to see that the two lakes in the village get water from Tungabhadra River through the ‘High Level Canal’.
