YS Jagan Visits Bedridden Katari Ramulu

YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy recounted a very special experience which touched him to the core while he was on his Padayatra today. In a Facebook post YS Jagan commented that Katari Ramulu, a 66 year-old who had great admiration for the late Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy, as also for him, was suffering from a serious liver condition. He had been bed-ridden for some time and yearned to catch a glimpse of the people's leader once.
Ramulu's grand-daughter, the Facebook post revealed, had met YS Jagan during the course of Praja Sankalpa Yatra today and told him about her grandfather's keenness to see him. "Anna, my grandfather is longing to see you," she said, and explained that he was bed-ridden. "We live close by; please come and see him," she implored.
The YSRCP chief promptly accompanied the young girl to her house and the moment her grandfather, Ramulu saw the mass leader, he was overcome with emotion. YS Jagan said that Ramulu greeted him with moist eyes, overcome with happiness. The YSRCP chief added that Praja Sankalpa Yatra gave him several such opportunities to interact with people. These were experiences and memories he treasured, he said.
