YS Jagan covers 260 km, 66 villages, 14 mandals in Kurnool district
YS Jagan’s historic Praja Sankalpa Yatra has proved to be immensely successful in Kurnool district. Everywhere, there was tumultuous welcome for the young leader and the people turned out in huge numbers to greet him at all places. Everywhere, the people joined his trek in a big way and narrated their tales of woes to him. YS Jagan gave them a patient hearting and assured them to address them once he takes reins of power in Andhra Pradesh.
YS Jagan’s yatra in Kurnool began on November 14 and he covered 263 km in all. YS Jagan touched 66 illages in 14 mandals of 8 assembly constituencies as part of his Kurnool tour. At Chagalamarri, he completed 100 km at Godiganuru in Chagalamarri, 200 km in Muddavaram of Betamcharla mandal and 300 km at B Agraharam in Gonegandla mandal in Yemmiganur mandal. On crossing each of these milestones, YS Jagan planted a sapling to mark the occasion.
YS Jagan addressed conclaves of women, BCs, farmers, daily wagers and quarry workers. These meets elicited great response. Several organisations, associations and committees met YS Jagan en route with requests to address their issues. The people responded greatly to the yatra and thousands rushed out of their homes, left their farm works and shops to greet YS Jagan. At many places, flowers were showered in such a huge quantity that the whole road looked flowery.
