Hyderabad: YSRCP's official spokesperson Vasireddy Padma questioned why Chandrababu stayed silent when the centre announced that no special status would be given. She condemned Babu's defending the centre after all the unfair decisions taken against the state. She spoke to the media at the party's central office in Hyderabad.

Vasireddy Padma complained that Chandrababu neither fought ambitiously for special status not was letting others fight. She demanded to know what was stopping him from demanding the central Government regarding special status. She questioned if Babu was afraid of being punished for Note for Vote case. She cautioned that if the benefits of people were mortgaged for his own benefits, he would not be forgiven. She called for united fight for special status.
