YSRCP launches recalling Chandrababu’s manifesto campaign

Singanamala, June 27: YSRCP led by State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, launched a campaign against the ruling coalition government, betraying public trust through unfulfilled promises and widespread deceit. At a spirited event in Bukkarayasamudram Mandal, Singanamala constituency, sajjala inaugurated a new YSRCP office and unveiled a poster featuring a QR code titled “Chandrababu’s Surety, Deceit’s Guarantee.”
The campaign, named “Recalling Chandrababu’s Manifesto,” aims to remind citizens of the coalition’s failure to deliver on its electoral pledges, as directed by YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Speaking at the event, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy lambasted the coalition government for its “year-long record of deception, violence, corruption, and atrocities, particularly against women.” He contrasted this with YS Jagan’s 2019-24 tenure, during which “every promise was fulfilled, setting a benchmark for governance.” Sajjala accused Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of pushing Andhra Pradesh “15 years backward” in just one year, failing to implement even a single manifesto promise fully. He highlighted the coalition’s alleged plan to eliminate 10 lakh pensions, with 5 lakh already discontinued, and condemned the government for targeting YSRCP workers and leaders with false cases to suppress dissent. “The coalition’s obsession with tarnishing YS Jagan’s image reveals their inability to govern effectively,” sajjala asserted, warning that unchecked looting of resources like sand, liquor, and quartz signals a desperate regime aware of its fading prospects.

Sajjala called on YSRCP cadres to take the campaign to every household, exposing the coalition’s “guarantee bonds” as hollow promises. “From July, when coalition MLAs visit door-to-door, people must confront them with these unfulfilled bonds and demand accountability,” he urged. The campaign will expand from district to village levels, detailing losses suffered by every family due to the coalition’s failures.
Former Minister Sake Sailajanath echoed sajjala’s defiance, challenging Naidu to match YS Jagan’s record of delivering welfare schemes, housing, and revolutionary reforms in education and healthcare. “The people of Singanamala will not bow to intimidation or false cases,” Sailajanath declared, stating that the coalition of treating power as a “license to plunder.” He questioned the legitimacy of the coalition’s electoral victory, citing public suspicions of EVM manipulation, and vowed that no conspiracy could stop YS Jagan from reclaiming leadership.
MP Peddireddi Mithun Reddy intensified the attack, claiming surveys indicate the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) would face a rout in Rayalaseema if elections were held today. He criticised that government neglecting farmers, who receive no minimum support price, while “liquor traders alone prosper under this regime.” Mithun Reddy criticized the coalition’s reliance on diversionary tactics to mask its failures and condemned the prioritization of Amaravati’s development at the expense of other regions. “The YSRCP will relentlessly expose the coalition’s corruption and broken promises to the people,” he affirmed.

The event saw participation from key YSRCP leaders, including Anantapur District President and former MP Anantha Venkatarami Reddy, Satyasai District President and former Minister KV Ushasri Charan, State General Secretary Sateesh Reddy, and other prominent figures. The YSRCP’s campaign signals a robust opposition movement, committed to holding the coalition accountable and mobilizing public support for a governance model rooted in trust and delivery.
