Hyderabad, March 4: YSR Congress has said that it would move a no-confidence motion against the TDP government for its failure on all fronts and the various scams and also serve a notice to the Chair to disqualify the defected legislators.
‘We will take up all the people’s issues in the ensuing assembly session and move the no-confidence motion after the Governor’s address and will press for disqualification of the defected legislators,’ party MLA’s G Srikanth Reddy and Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy told reporters here on Friday.
The State Government has failed on all fronts, from irrigation to power to employment generations, agriculture, housing and welfare schemes and the unprecedented scams that have come from the sand, liquor and incentives to favoured industrialists to the large extent of lands purchased in the surrounding areas of the capital city alienating the dalits and adivasis from their settlements and the heavy corruption which all go against the State and its governance.
‘We will move the no-confidence motion for the overall failure and large-corruption and also seek the disqualification of the defected MLAs,’ they said.
The Chief Minister’s camp office itself is an illegal structure and manipulating the alignment in favour of the TDP leaders and the coterie will be questioned, they said.
‘During the two years in office not a single welfare measure was taken up and no section of people is happy as the concentration has been on commercialization of governance and blaming the opposition for all its failures,’ they said.
