Amaravati: The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is organising a special 'Walk With Jagan Anna' Programme on January 28 to mark the completion of 1,000 kilometres of the historic Praja Sankalpa Yatra undertaken by Leader of the Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The yatra will complete 1,000 kilometers on that day in Nellore. It may be recalled that the yatra began in Idupulapaya of YSR Kadapa district and will conclude at Ichapuram traversing through 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh and covering over 3,000 kilometers. In this regard, the YSRCP planned a series of events to mark the 1,000 kilometers of the yatra. As part of the programme, YSRCP cadre, supporters and well-wishers will participate in a simultaneous walkathon at 700 designated areas around the world. These will include 25 Parliamentary constituencies and 664 mandal headquarters in AP. The padayatra will begin after paying tributes to former chief minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
The yatra will also be taken up simultaneously in 25 cities of 15 countries under the aegis of YSRCP's NRI cell.
