Vijayamma mourns Gujral’s death

Hyderabad, Nov 30,
2012: YSR Congress party honourary president Smt. Y.S. Vijayamma has expressed
condolence over the death of former Prime Minister I. K. Gujral.

In a statement issued
here, Smt. Vijayamma described Gujral as a statesman and multi-faceted
personality who successfully served the nation as an ambassador and also as a
Union Minister. 

“Gujral, with his long
experience as Parliamentary, Finance, Information and External Affairs Minister,
took over as the 12^th Prime Minister at a time when the country was
passing through difficult times and his efforts to improve the economic and
political conditions in the country were unparallel,” she said in the statement.

Smt. Vijayamma conveyed
her profound sympathies to the members of the bereaved family.
